Qualification:
Masters Degree in Art History or Fine Arts is
desired.
Experience & Abilities:
3 years or
more of related experience
Museum experience will
be a plus.
A demonstrated record of exhibitions development experience, excellent
writer and communicator will be a definite plus.
Job Description
-Assist Curator in
relationship management with arts sector including art organizations,
institutions, festivals etc.
-Finalize proposals of arts initiatives and projects.
-Increasing access to and participation in community arts and related
activities.
-Maintains the
exhibition and event schedule as assigned by the curator.
-Responds to all
inquiries pertaining to exhibitions and including artists’ curators,
members and
general public.
-Develop proposals
for annual exhibition and event schedule with participating artists,
estimating
budget proposals, exhibition and event descriptions, etc.
-Records all
financial revenues and expenses for each exhibition and events in
coordination with
the curator for further submission.
-Maintains and
reports on general exhibition gallery and theatre needs.
-Establish, perform
and maintain comprehensive inventory control system along with equipment
usage procedures.
-Submit proposals to
orders and purchases general exhibition, concert and office supplies
related
to arts.
-Other
responsibilities as and when assigned.
