Experience &
Abilities:
Five
years or more of curatorial experience.
2-3
years of museum
experience will be a plus. A demonstrated record of
exhibitions
development
experience, should be an excellent writer and communicator.
Job
Description:
- Relationship
management with arts sector including art organizations, institutions,
festivals etc.

Developing proposals for arts initiatives and projects.
-
Increasing access to and participation in community arts.
- Formulate and
maintains the exhibition and event schedule and assign and ensure
the
assistant art curator to implement the same.
- Responds to all
inquiries pertaining to exhibitions and including artists’ curators,
members and general public.
- Screen, amend and
submit for approval to the OM the developed proposals for the
annual
exhibition and event schedule with participating artists, budget,
exhibition
and event descriptions, etc.
- Coordinate with the
Accounts and Administration Executives for the confirmation
and payments
to staff, artists are made and recorded.
- Establish and
implement proper recording systems of all financial revenues and
expenses
for each exhibition and event.
- Asses the
requirements on general exhibition gallery and theatre needs for formal
approval.
- Orders and purchases
(approved) general exhibition, concert and office supplies
related to arts
in coordination with the admin department.
- Plan, organize, lead
and control in establishing extensive data center/library on all
relevant
fine arts
- Other
responsibilities as and when assigned.
