Job
Description:
- Maintaining and building contacts with the
media.
- Writing and distributing press releases.
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets,
posters and
flyers - this can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising
with designers
and printers.
- Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials.
- Carrying out market research and surveys.
- Evaluating marketing campaigns.
- Contributing to long-term marketing plans and strategies.
- Making and managing budgets.
- Plan and implement advertising and promotional strategy and activities.
- Writing, or contributing to, publications which accompany arts-related
events and
activities.
- Marketing a performance or event through direct mail, advertising,
producing
posters or publicity leaflets, generating interest from the media, ticket
competitions
or attracting reviewers.
- Preparing photo shoots.
- Working to secure funding for venues or specific events.
- Organizing and attending events and exhibitions.
- Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of
marketing project.
- Contacting national, multinational and international companies to
obtaining
area sponsorships.
- Setting clientele demography and making targets to capture that customer
base.
- Developing marketing partnerships with travel and hospitality industry
to promote
“Potohari: The Art and Craft Village”
- Daily, weekly and quarterly events management.
- Ability to develop, manage and up-date website.
